Rihanna to Tell Her Story about Chris Brown Incident

The photo of a bruised and battered Rihanna was downright shocking. Now the songbird is going to speak out for the first time about her tragic relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Nearly nine months after Rihanna was viciously assaulted following a pre-Grammy party — and over three months after Chris pled guilty to felony assault — she is going to tell her side of the story in an interview that will air on ABC's Good Morning America Thursday and 20/20 on Friday.

"Rihanna: Music superstar. Pop sensation. Now for the very first time, Rihanna tells her story," said a voiceover for the promo that appeared online over the weekend.

This will be Rihanna's first interview since the February incident with Chris, for which he was sentenced five years of probation, 180 days of community labor and a year of domestic violence classes. He has since publicly apologized and openly pined for her, but she has kept her lips sealed.

Rihanna's new album, Rated R, will be released Nov. 23.

I totally will not ask my Granma to buy me this album because I majorly think that music should be totally based on talent rather than sinsationalism. My Granma totally loves that band with Fergie in it and Tonight's the night is her absolute mega favorite tune!!!

I think Rihanna is making to big a deal outta this. Women go through domestic abuse eveyday and you dont see anyone interested in what they have to say!

i so agree with ashley! Why now are you speaking out about this situation so close to when your album will be released.She doing this to promote the new cd she has coming out.An i think she is jealous on chris comeback. Im sorry but i feel the whole thing is wrong! I personally dont like her new single that's out either.She cant sing at all!She is just a pretty face to look at thats about it!!!!!

Im looking forward to hearing her side of the story. I feel like she and him could still remain as friends though, the media just makes things worse so I hope that she will watch was she says and how she says it. I love them both as artist and they are still human, people do make mistakes. Its not our job to judge them its God's job.
