Celeb Sightings! Hot Gossip! Star WANTS THE SCOOP

First Look: Princess Dakota Fanning

Filed under:         Dakota Fanning    Kristen Stewart

Some girls have all the luck!

Not only has Dakota Fanning nabbed a role in the hottest movie series ever, the 15-year-old queen bee was named Homecoming Princess at her North Hollywood high school.

On Friday, the Twilight star attended her school's homecoming festivities. After doing some cheers with her squad, Dakota linked arms with a football star as they were announced as part of homecoming court.

Dakota also recently wrapped production of The Runaways, a film about Joan Jett's band back in the '70s. Also in the cast of the film -- which hits theaters next year -- is her new BFF Kristen Stewart.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be in theaters Nov. 20.

Congrats, Dakota! You deserved it as much as anyone else did!

she's a junior. Two junior girls and two junior boys were picked along with two senior girls and two senior boys. Dakota won because she's a cool girl, not because she's Dakota Fanning. At school, she's only Dakota. And she was princess, along with another normal girl from eleventh grade. And yeaa, the homecoming prince is very hot

I'm glad she is trying to live a normal life. (out of the celeb light) Good for you Dakota, and I'm proud of her parents too.

Congrats Dakota. Live your High School teens years with smiles and glitter. They go by fast- cherish the memories. You are setting a fine example to teen actors. Acting is a job- NOT a privlege!
