Most people don't have the big bucks it takes to kick it at the 2008 Beijing Olympics next week - but a lot of them have a yen to visit the world's biggest country, or at least its highlights. Which is where this travel show comes in: It gives a far-ranging hour-long tour of China's most amazing sights. The hanging monastery - which has been clinging to the side of a cliff 15 stories above the ground for 1,000 years - offers dizzying views and the giant Buddha (you're as big as one of his well-carved toes) is dazzling. But it's all about the Wall, right? The Great Wall, that is: It stretches 4,000 miles and has been around for centuries. Still, the history lessons are flat and, out of the seven, there are only four or five that truly astonish. On the other hand, it's a lot cheaper - like, free! - than the serious cash it would cost to see them in person. And you receive a view of them that tourists could never wrangle.
