Stars Say Goodbye at Farrah Fawcett Funeral
Farrah Fawcett, who died June 25 after a long battle with cancer, was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon, following a private funeral at Our Lady of the Angels, a Roman Catholic cathedral, in Los Angeles.
A bevy of familiar faces attended the service, including Farrah's longtime love Ryan O'Neal and closest friend Alana Stewart. Also seen at the funeral were Jackie and Joan Collins, Dick Van Patten, Garry Shandling, Cheryl Tiegs and Farrah's Charlie's Angels costars, Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith. Even Lee Majors, Farrah's formerly estranged ex, came to pay his respects.
Farrah and Ryan's son Redmond, 24, was granted permission to leave jail and attend the service. The two men in Farrah's life also spoke during the ceremony. Redmond opened the service with a reading, and Ryan later read from Psalm 23.
Alana and Dr. Lawrence Piro, Farrah's physician, gave eulogies after the song "To Where You Are" was played. The programs handed out to guests contained a photo of a smiling Farrah wearing a sequined dress, as well as the James Joyce poem "At That Hour."

WHY was Griffin & Family kept out of the church when he had a good relationship with Farrah? It does not make sense. He was Redmond's brother.
That was cruel. -- Bad Manners Ryan
My heart goes out to Ryan O'Neal and their son, Redmon. Farrah fought a brave battle, but she will now watch over her loved ones! God Bless them.

Farrah...truly a life cut too short. She was an amazing, loving, caring person. Ryan and Redmond-you are in the thoughts and prayers of everyone.

The world is a better place because Farrah was here. I thank her, her friend's & her family for the intimate view given to us in "Farrah's Story"----she touched my life so deeply---allowing us to share her battle and allowing us to see what cancer is really like. I will always admire her and respect her for that. I wish that I could heal her and bring her back. She was and IS a stong, courageous beautiful person. We will miss her. She will live in the hearts of all of us.

Ok, now that we have praised Farrah on her acting abilities, what else can we say she has done other than put on a bathing suit and flash a pair of teeth. It is my understanding that she acquired Anal Cancer from a veneral disease she contracted while having Anal Sex. In addition, she did not perform any humanitarian task while she was alive. Now, they want to make her out of some kind of martyr. Get real, most of us know the truth about this woman and so do the media.

Go bless you Farrah fawcett. May your soul live on eternally.
-- Forever Farrah...indeed
I think the news media, should have given much more publicity surrounding Farrah's untimely death, than Michael Jackson. Farrah fought bravely for 3 years, when her life was suddenly snuffed out. Michael has always abused himself, and now he paid the price dearly, with his life.
