Britney's Big Night Out
Only one day after Britney Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, was awarded full custody of their sons in a shocking legal agreement, the single mom showed her support for children with an appearance at Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's Snow Queen Vodka-sponsored fundraiser for Generation Rescue, an organization dedicated to researching autism.
Although she had just signed away her parental rights, Britney acted as though she'd won the hard-fought battle, flashing smiles and giggling at a joke that Jim whispered in her ear. "Britney looked amazing — her hair and makeup were perfect and her body appeared toned — and she seemed very confident," a partygoer tells Star. "Her whole demeanor was calm, like she'd undergone a complete transformation."
Inside Jim and Jenny's Brentwood, Calif., home, Britney was reserved. She shared a table with Leah Remini and quietly sipped a glass of Danoush Cabernet behind a wall of bodyguards, according to the guest.
"She was really well-behaved but didn't want to socialize," the eyewitness tells Star. She kept her distance from fellow VIPs Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, Sarah Silverman, Rose McGowen, Cheryl Hines and Mekhi Phifer.
After spending almost two hours at the affair, Britney slipped out of the party at 10:30 p.m., as Jim's daughter Jane performed songs by Frank Sinatra and The Jackson 5.
