Report: Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo Split

In Chicago over the weekend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went wild with a pack of college buddies. Was his bachelor weekend prompted by a split from Jessica Simpson?

While partying with several Eastern Illinois alumni on Saturday, Tony revealed that he and Jessica are on the outs, reports Chicago gossip blog These Boots Are Made for Stalking.

"They're broken up," Tony's pal told the blog. "He told us they broke up and that was that. We're guys so we didn't talk about it much."

Tony made the most of his boys' weekend — from singing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at a Chicago Cubs game to boozing at local hotspots.

After spending hours at Uncle Fatty's Rum Resort "drinking Grey Goose and Diet Cokes," he partied with his crew in a VIP area of Manor nightclub. "He was surrounded by girls," according to an eyewitness. "We had to restrain some who forcibly tried to make their way to his table."

One gal who didn't need restraining was one particular blonde whom he reportedly spent a lot of time talking to.

"He zeroed in on one blonde all night," a source told the blog. "That blonde wasn't Jessica Simpson."

Tony and Jessica have been dating since Thanksgiving to the chagrin of Dallas Cowboys fans, many of whom blamed the singer for Tony's poor performance at the end of the football season. Jessica initially kept quiet about her new relationship, though just recently she opened up about him to Glamour for their June issue.

"I love this guy," she gushed. "Can you feel it?"

Hmm... wonder what she's feeling today.

Calls to Jessica's rep for a comment haven't been returned yet.
