Jean Christophe Novelli is one of the top chefs in the world, with his own school in London. For this new reality show, he moves to LA to launch a new culinary institute - but he's only got eight weeks to graduate his first students because, well, it's a TV show. His nine students will be tested weekly during the eight-week course and three fails means expulsion. Like most Bravo reality shows, this one has its share of clueless people who are allowed to yammer on about themselves on camera. But the food part is yummy and Novelli himself is an interesting character: a handsome charmer with an explosive temper. Plus he's got a "Columbo" fixation - and you haven't laughed until you've heard him do his French-accented impression of the classic TV detective. This show is definitely worth a look.
